Spider-mania hit Los Angeles Thursday night as Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield arrived in Los Angeles to premiere the highly anticipated reboot of Marvel's Spider-Man series.
Decked in Chanel, an ultra-glam Stone hit the carpet in arguably her best outfit yet since embarking upon the movie's whirlwind press tour around the globe ten days ago.
"It's so nice to know that the whole world loves this character, loves Spider-Man so much," remarked Stone (who plays Spidey's love interest, Gwen Stacy) of the many cities visited to promote the film, including Paris, London, Moscow and Berlin. "It's been really interesting to get to go to all those places because you're seeing the different reaction in all of them."
Peter Parker himself, Andrew Garfield, followed in the fashionable footsteps of his real-life lady love, walking down the red carpet in a well-tailored, navy blue Balenciaga suit. While dressed to the nines for the night's premiere, Garfield acknowledged that being Spider-Man isn't always so glamorous. In fact, the 28-year-old Brit reveals that Parker takes quite a beating in this film, and he himself did a good portion of his own stunts.
"I did like 70%" he boasts, adding "It's not my figure, somebody else's... That made me happy."
The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary, Embeth Davitz, Campbell Scott and C. Thomas Howell, swinging into theaters July 3 in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D.
