Disney Channel stars are encouraging millions of kids and families to incite social change around the world.

In a new video promoting the Friends for Change Initiative, one of its young ambassadors, Jessie star Debby Ryan, shows how your efforts can make a difference for families in India.

Friends for Change is made up of three major campaigns -- each led by different Disney actors. Debby's cause, "Helping Communities - Volunteer," is in collaboration with the non-profit organization Free the Children.

The other two campaigns ("Helping People - Be a Leader," championed by Shake It Up stars Bella Thorne and Zendaya and "Helping the Planet - Green Your Scene," headed up by Austin & Ally's Ross Lynch and Laura Marano) are in collaboration with Free the Children and TreePeople, respectively.
